Actor ‘Andre Brouwer’, who played the role of Captain Ramon Holt in the US super hit comedy series Brooklyn Nine-Nine, died at the age of 61.

American media said that Andre Brouwer died suddenly due to an illness, he had been ill for the past few days and passed away.

Andre Brower has acted in several American dramas, but he is best known for his role as detective Frank Pembleton in the drama Homicide: Life on the Street and as Captain Ramon Holt in Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

The comedy series Brooklyn Nine-Nine, which debuted in 2013, ran for 8 seasons, starring Andre’s role as police officer Captain Ramon Holt.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine actor Terry Crews took to his Instagram account to describe Andre’s death as a “huge loss.” The actor wrote, “Can’t believe you’re gone so soon. Proud to have worked with you for 8 wonderful years given your talent.

Saddened by your death, you left us too soon, the actor wrote.

The 55-year-old actor added, ‘You taught me so much, I will always be grateful for the experience of knowing you, thank you for your wisdom, your advice, and your friendship, Andre I love you, man.’

Also, actress Chelsea Peretti, who played the role of ‘Gina’ in the series, wrote on Instagram: ‘Will miss your charming voice, forever blessed to have worked with you’.
