Asifa Bhutto Zardari will be given the status of the first lady, according to the Pakistan People’s Party, President Asif Ali Zardari will officially declare Asifa Bhutto the first lady. Asifa Bhutto will also be given the First Lady protocol and she will be the first Lady who is the daughter of the President.

Usually, the status of the first lady goes to the wife, for the general elections on February 8, Asifa Bhutto campaigned for the People’s Party and supported her brother Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

Who is Asifa Bhutto Zardari?

31-year-old Asifa Bhutto Zardari is part of the political family of Pakistan’s second largest political party, the People’s Party, she is the youngest daughter of the former PM of Pakistan Benazir Bhutto Shaheed, and the current President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari. Asifa Bhutto is the younger sister of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari, she is the granddaughter of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, the founder of Pakistan Peoples Party and the Iranian-born Nusrat Bhutto, and the niece of Shahnawaz Bhutto and Murtaza Bhutto.
