“Mahwish Hayat’s Denial Was Not Right”: Khalilur Rahman Qamar

The popular DRAMA Writer of Pakistan, Khalilur Rehman Qamar, told the reason for his displeasure with Pakistani Drama actress Mehwish Hayat.

Yesterday, Khalilur Rehman Qamar participated in a podcast show of Ahmed Ali Butt where he talked about the plays he had written.

When the host asked the reason for Mehwish Hayat’s displeasure, Khalilur Rehman Qamar said that Mehwish had refused to act in the film “Kaaf Kangana” written by me.

He expressed his displeasure with Mehwish Hayat and said that it was not possible to refuse him, because I would not go to Punjab, I had cast him.

Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar added that ‘even one’s angels will not know that I made a lot of efforts to get Mehwish cast in this film’.

Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar said that the director and producer of the film were not ready to cast Mehwish in this film.

Regarding Mehwish Hayat, he further said ‘I fought to cast Mehwish in this film, I did not make any promise to him that I will cast him in this film’.
