New Feature In WhatsApp Web Version

Stories are now an essential part of every social media and App, allowing users to share their daily moments with others, which automatically disappear after 24 hours.

Stories have been added to WhatsApp as statuses and the good news is that now you can share statuses with your friends on the web version of WhatsApp.

It is possible to share photos, videos, and text as statuses on the web version of WhatsApp.

When a user updates the status on the web version, a green ring will appear on his profile photo, which can be clicked to view the status.

WABetainfo reports that this new feature has been introduced in the beta version of the web.

According to an estimate, millions of people use the WhatsApp web version, mostly used for office purposes.

If you want to use this new feature, click on the status icon on the top left side of WhatsApp web and select My Status.

Doing so will bring up Photos & Videos and Text options below.

Many people use the status feature and hence changes are made constantly.

Some time ago the voice status feature was also introduced in WhatsApp and now the status feature is being added to the web version as well.

As mentioned above this feature is only introduced in the beta version so it is hard to say how long it will be available to all users.
