“Open disrespect in Pakistan”, Zaranish Khan lashed out at ‘Sindh Moorat March’

KARACHI: The Showbiz industry’s famous actress Zaranish Khan has expressed her anger over the ‘Sindh Moorat March’ organized by the eunuch community.

Last month, Sindh Murt March was organized on the occasion of Transgender International Day in Shahr-i-Quaid, in which a large number of transgenders from different cities participated.

Political and social leaders including Zulfiqar Bhutto Jr., eunuch leader Bandia Rana, and PPP leader Shehla Raza also participated in this march.

In the ‘Sindh Murt March’, transgenders carried various placards and banners for their rights while music and dance were also performed in the march.

Now, a video of ‘Sindh Murt March’ is going viral on social media, in which the singer in a bold outfit is shown performing on stage along with a eunuch dancing.

While the social media users made angry comments on this video, the well-known actress of the showbiz industry Zaranish Khan also condemned the ‘Sindh Murt March’ in strong words.

“What was the need for further destruction in this country? Now there is open disrespect,” said Zaranish Khan.

It should be noted that according to Express News, the Sindh Murt March was organized by a local movement working to protect the rights of transgender people based in Sindh, to express the problems faced by it on International Transgender Day.

This was the first march of its kind in Sindh for the rights of transgender people, in which a large number of people from all over Sindh came to Karachi.
