Pakistan General Election Schedule Date Announced
ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) will announce the schedule of general elections on December 17 (Sunday) in Islamabad and the elections will be held on February 8 next year.
Receipt of nomination papers will be started on the day after the announcement of the election schedule.
Top ECP sources told The News that the Election Commission has decided to give 54 days for the entire process which will conclude on February 8 with polling for the National and Provincial Assemblies.

With the announcement of the election schedule, the entire administration of the federal and provincial governments will be obliged to assist the commission in conducting the elections.
It should be remembered that a few days ago, an election schedule was circulating on social media, which the spokesperson of the Election Commission denied in clear words and said that only the spokesperson of the Election Commission will announce the election schedule, so don’t listen to any other schedule.
