Vini Raman, Glenn Maxwell’s wife, gives a strong reply to threats

Vini Raman, wife of Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell, gave a strong response to the threats on social media.

On the photo and video sharing platform Instagram, Indian-Australian wife of Australian player Vini Raman revealed that she received threats from users after India’s defeat by Australia.

Sharing an Insta story, she criticized those who threatened on social media and said that cricket fans can support their team without insulting, hating and misrepresenting anyone.

She shared various family photos and videos captured during her visit to India on Instagram and also posted a note. Vini Raman wrote in the note that fans sending all insulting and abusive messages can live within the realm of civility.

She further wrote that I can’t believe that there is a need to say that even being an Indian you can support the country where you were born and brought up, above all you support this team. The team represented by your husband or the father of your child can.

She also advised the social media trolls and those sending threatening messages to keep courage and focus on other important issues of the world. It should be noted that in the final of the ICC World Cup 2023, Australia has won the title for the sixth time after defeating India by 6 wickets.
