Regarding this, in a Pakistani show, a fan asked Ahmed Shahzad a question ‘Ahmed Bhai, you have played cricket, you have gone through all these processes, will there be any change in this culture of players in Pakistan, or whether the chairman of PCB who is the interior minister or a senator, will this culture of recommendation end or not.’

In response to this Ahmed Shahzad said ‘I think that if the recommendation culture is to be abolished, it can be done, but if it is not to be abolished, that is another matter.’

Ahmad Shahzad said regarding the PCB chairman that ‘maybe the current chairman is new, so many big matches have been played with him and this World Cup has just arrived, which we cannot predict, but it will be known in the next matches, we will know how he shows his performance.’

Regarding his multiple positions, Ahmed Shehzad replied ‘If it is about selection, other people also have a hand in it, not just the chairman.’
